Gordon Russell Ltd. has sold and serviced David Brown Radicons in Western Canada for over 60 years. David Brown Radicon wormgears can be found in a wide variety of industries offering high ratio reductions in single stage to simple gearbox designs. Offering high overhung load and thermal capacities Radicons are available in standard right angle horizontal configurations as well as vertical stirrer drives and double reduction applications. Size range from 4" to 24" centres  w/ torque capacities exceeding 450,000 Lb.Ins. NEMA C inputs available.
Radicon also produces a complete range on inline helical, helical/worm and helical/bevel reducers and gearmotors that are drop-in replacements for other major manufacturers. Patented IEC and NEMA C motor adapter designs eliminate misalignment issues and motor shaft fretting corrosion concerns.

Enveloping wormgear design increases the torque capacity of the Conedrive gear unit over a comparably sized straight wormgear unit. Standard and custom designs to suit User and OEM requirements. The Series B range offers an exceptional NEMA C or IEC gearmotor design for fractional HP applications at very competitive pricing.

Traditional shaftmount style that has the benefit of an exclusive taper bushing design allowing for a narrower gearbox width with a corresponding shorter driven shaft length. A sealant groove between the two case halves also adds to the exceptional quality of the SGC Dorris product. Ratios from 5:1 to 40:1 available. Motor mounts, screw conveyor configurations and NEMA C motor adapters are standard options.
